Prize Description

Challenge terms and conditions

  1. The Blackpool Workplace Cycle Challenge period will run from Monday 4th July to Friday 22nd July 2011 ('the Challenge period').
  2. It’s open to all residents or workers in the Blackpool area over age 16.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Registration and entry into the prize draw is free via the Cycle Blackpool website.
  5. Registration can continue into the Challenge period. The closing date for registration and logging a ride is Friday 22nd July.
  6. Cycle trips must occur within the Challenge period to contribute to an individual's and workplace's results.
  7. A valid cycle trip is defined as a participant cycling for a minimum of 5 minutes or 1 mile on a pedal cycle.
  8. Only cycle trips to and from work contribute to the positions in the Organisation Leader board.
  9. All cycle trip types contribute to the positions on the Rider Leader Board.
  10. Cycle trips must be logged via the Cycle Blackpool website. If trips are not logged in this way, they cannot contribute to an individual's and organisation's results.
  11. Cycle Blackpool do not accept liability for the accuracy of the cycle data logged. It is understood by agreeing to the terms and conditions, participants are responsible for entering their cycle data accurately and with integrity.
  12. Cycle Blackpool shall not be held responsible for any late, incomplete, corrupted or incorrect registrations as a result of any software or hardware failure, or otherwise.
  13. Cycle trips do not include use of motorcycles, scooters or stationary cycles.
  14. Cycle Blackpool's decision is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.

Weekly Prize Draw

  1. There are a total of 24 prizes to be won by way of weekly prize draws to be held on Monday 11th, 18th and 25th July.
  2. Cycle rides taken between 4th July and 10th July qualify for entry into the draw held on 11th July.
  3. Cycle rides taken between 11th and 17th July qualify for entry into the draw held on 18th July.
  4. Cycle rides taken between 18th and 22nd July qualifies for entry into the draw on the 25th July.
  5. The 24 prizes will be split evenly between the three weekly draws making a total of 8 prizes on offer each week.
  6. The weekly draw prizes are:
    • 20 Pleasure Beach 2 for the price of 1 Wristband Vouchers
    • 4 cycle computers
  7. All prize winners will be notified by email.
  8. Cycle Blackpool's decision is final and binding.
  9. Any one person cannot win more than one prize during the Challenge period except where a weekly prize draw winner also finishes top of the rider leader board.
  10. The names of the Cycle Challenge prize winners are available by emailing Travel.Plans@blackpool.gov.uk
  11. No cash or other prize alternatives are available.

Top Riders Prize

  1. There will be a special prize of a Bannatyne’s Health Club sports bag kit awarded to the top rider who logs the most rides during the Challenge period.
  2. The name of the winner of the Rider Leader Board may feature in a local newspaper article for publicity.

Prize Description

Pleasure Beach 2 for 1 Wristband Vouchers

  1. There are 20 Pleasure Beach 2 for the price of 1 Wristband Vouchers.
  2. The Voucher entitles one person to a free Wristband when one full price Wristband is purchased.
  3. Pleasure Beach terms and conditions apply.
  4. The Voucher will be delivered to the winners by first class post.

Bannatyne's Health Club Sports Bag Kit

  1. There is one Bannatyne’s Health Club sports bag kit to be awarded to the rider who has logged the most rides over the course of the Challenge period.
  2. The sports bag kit includes sports bag, towel and water bottle.
  3. The winner of the sports bag kit must collect the prize from Bannatyne’s Health Club, Rigby Road, Blackpool, FY1 5EP.
  4. The winner must inform Bannatyne’s Health Club when they intend collecting the prize.

Cycle Computers

  1. There are four cycle computers to be won in the weekly prize draws supplied by Kelloggs.
  2. The winners must collect the prize from the Council offices at Layton Depot, Depot Road, Blackpool, FY3 7HW.
Logos
